When entering
I'm not very knowledgeable about the subject, but this could surely be the solution. (I downloaded the game and was able to start it correctly)

The MSVCP120.dll library corresponds to the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package.

To try to fix this Visual C++ code problem, download these executable files. You may need to install both platforms (32-bit and 64-bit):

After the installations, restart your computer.

no, it opens and then closes right away, no error or anything.
Damn. You can try downloading the Redistributable Package perhaps. Or troubleshoot compatibility issues. If none of that works, unfortunately I can't help you, I'm not enlightened with that kind of knowledge. :(

I no longer have the game on my computer, I don't remember what kind of application it was, but you can ask on the forum or another page about common problems and compatibility for that type of app.

Same here
I was able to start my game by using locale emulator.

Some games don't support Unicode (a text encoding standard designed to support the use of text in all of the world's writing systems) and need to be run on a system in their native language.

You can either do that manually by going into your region settings and changing the language for non-Unicode programs to Japanese. This, however, requires a restart and may lead to other games/programs not working anymore. Thus I recommend to change the language back after finishing your game.

The second, imo more preferable solution, is to use a tool that simulates a set region and language. Locale-Emulator is open source and can be downloaded . After installing, simply right-click the .exe and choose "Locale Emulator > run in Japanese" (you need to have pre-set Japanese as the language of choice). Temp.png
